A New Beginning For Growth: B.T.F.'s Annual Strategy Conference Concludes Successfully

The ancient city of Suzhou was bathed in the rich autumn colors, a time for concerted efforts to forge a new chapter! From November 21st to 23rd, over 30 mid-to-senior-level managers from Jiangsu B.T.F. gathered in beautiful Suzhou for a three-day annual strategy meeting. Under the theme "Starting a New Journey, Cultivating Growth Through Intensive Training," the meeting set the course for future development.

This conference established two key directions: First, it officially launched the first year of ROE budgeting, using ROE as the core benchmark for strategic implementation and resource allocation, maximizing corporate value through a scientific budgeting system. Second, it clarified a talent strategy for cultivating business-oriented leaders, requiring management to transcend the limitations of internal management and strengthen market insight and innovative decision-making capabilities. Over the three-day agenda, managers engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as strategic implementation and performance breakthroughs, building consensus across the entire organization.

At the conclusion of the meeting, all participants visited the Sun Tzu Cultural Park for an immersive study of *The Art of War*. The wisdom of the opening chapter, "Planning," resonated strongly with everyone, considered the essence of military strategy. Participants deeply appreciated the warning, "War is a matter of vital importance to the state; a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin," which aligns perfectly with the competitive market landscape the company will face after its listing. Regarding the core idea that "He who wins a battle before it is fought has many calculations in his favor," managers engaged in a lively discussion, believing that the inaugural year of ROE budgeting is a modern enterprise's practice of "strategic planning"-quantifying core indicators such as revenue, profit, and assets to plan resource allocation in advance, thus laying a solid foundation for growth, much like accurately assessing the conditions for victory before battle.

hen interpreting the five elements of "Tao, Heaven, Earth, General, and Law," participants further correlated them with business practices: "Tao" refers to the company's unwavering business mission and shared understanding after listing; "Heaven" refers to seizing the opportune moment in industry development; "Earth" refers to the competitive market environment; "General" refers to the business leaders emphasized at the meeting, possessing the qualities of wisdom, integrity, benevolence, courage, and strictness; and "Law" corresponds to the company's budgeting system and management regulations. This comparison helped management gain a clearer understanding that cultivating business leaders and improving the ROE performance evaluation system are essentially practicing the military strategy of "victory through the combination of these five elements."
